Selection of Graduate Apprenticeship Trainees (GAT) & Technician Apprenticeship Trainees (TAT) November 2021 BATCH
RINL-VSP is inviting applications for Graduate Apprenticeship Trainees’ Training / Technician Apprenticeship Trainees’ Training from the Engineering / Diploma Passed out candidates (Passed in 2019/2020/2021 only) in the branches mentioned below. The period of apprenticeship training is one year. This is not a regular vacancy and shall be relieved on completion of one year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973. It shall not be obligatory on the part of RINL-VSP to offer any employment on completion of apprenticeship training. The procedure for applying for apprenticeship is given below:
1) Branches in which Apprenticeship offered:
STIPEND: Stipend of ₹4,984/- per month for Engineering Graduates (GAT).
Stipend of ₹3,542/- per month for Diploma Engineering (TAT).
2) ELIGIBILITY:
Qualification: 2019, 2020 & 2021 Engineering / Diploma passed out candidates and who have registered in MHRD NATS Portal only (www.mhrdnats.gov.in).
Candidates who have previously undergone Apprenticeship and/or presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training and/or presently in employment elsewhere being registered for Apprenticeship Training elsewhere under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, are not eligible to apply.
3) MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
a) Graduate(Engineering) Apprentices
A degree in engineering or technology granted by statutory University.
A degree in engineering or technology granted by an Institutions empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament.
b) Technician (Diploma) Apprentices
A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical
Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
4) RESERVATION OF VACANCIES:
Guidelines under Apprentices Act on Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD will be followed. Who are claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD shall provide certificate as per Government standard format, failing which their claim for reservation will be considered as ‘General’ category only. Candidates claiming reservation under OBC category (Non Creamy Layer) should have OBC certificate as per the Govt. prescribed (OBC) format from the competent certifying authority.

5) MINIMUM PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992, and amendments thereof if any.
6) DURATION OF TRAINING:
The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of 1(one) year as per Apprentices
(Amendment) Act 1973.
7) PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING FOR APPRENTICESHIP:
After Registered/enrolled candidates in MHRD NATS Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) only may please fill the Google form in the below link:

8) SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Candidates shall be called for Personal Interview based on percentage of marks achieved in respective discipline/branch taking into consideration the respective reservation norms. The Mobile Number and e- mail ID given in the Bio-data form/online registration in NATS Portal must be valid for minimum twelve months for communication purpose.
Candidates shortlisted for interview would be required to furnish documents regarding proof of Date of Birth, Qualification, Category (as applicable) etc. as per intimation to be given to the shortlisted candidates.
9) General instructions:
a) Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement.
b) Candidates must write their name as it appears in the educational certificate of Secondary or
equivalent examination. In case of change of name at a later stage necessary legally accepted documentary proof is to be submitted at the time of interview.
c) Incomplete applications will be rejected.
d) Request for change of mailing address/category/discipline/qualification once declared in the online application form will not be entertained.
e) Any canvassing or personal follow up with an intention of inducing the process of selection of apprentice by and on behalf of any candidate shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
f) The candidates are advised not to fall prey to any touts / agents in any way for this enrollment.
g) No Travelling Allowance or other expenses will be made admissible to the candidates appearing for the interview etc.
h) RINL-VSP reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process if circumstances so warrant without assigning any reason thereof.
i) Candidates prior to applying on the RINL website have to enroll themselves on the NATS website
(www.mhrdnats.gov.in).

Recruitment For Various Posts on Contract Basis

IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is a premier schedule “A” infrastructure Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Railways engaged in the construction of turnkey infrastructure projects in Railways, Highways, Buildings, Power sectors, etc. The company has recorded a total turnover of more than Rs
4948 crores in the year 2020-21. The Company has successfully completed large value Railway and Highway Projects over the years in India and abroad including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
The company invites applications for recruitment to the below mentioned post on Contract basis for IRCON's various projects at a fixed all-inclusive salary, as per the eligibility criteria and other details as tabulated below:
A. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. Selection Mode: Through interview to be conducted via Virtual Mode. The schedule of virtual interview shall be communicated separately to the eligible applicants. However, the candidates are required to register themselves for process of Interview by reporting at respective Project site on date and schedule mentioned at para B-6 along with application form and documents as mentioned in para B-2. The documents verification of the candidates appearing for registration would be conducted at the respective locations most likely on the day of registration.
2. Please note that the above exercise may take more than one day of duration depending on the no. of candidates appearing for registration. Thus, the candidates are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
3. Please note that Candidates not in a position to join IRCON within a period of One month from the date of receipt of Offer Letter need not apply.
4. There are no allowances over and above the fixed pay.
5. The above posts are specifically for IRCON’s Office/Projects, in India and not for the regular establishment of IRCON. The appointment will be initially for a period of one year subject to satisfactory performance of the selected candidate. The contract may be further extended after One year as per the requirements of the company, if the services of the candidates are found to be satisfactory. However, the appointment is co-terminus with the project for which is candidate is selected and will not confer any right to claim absorption in regular establishment of the company or for appointment in other projects of the company.
6. For Medical Coverage, the Medical Health Insurance Policy of Rs Three Lakhs for self with the ceiling of premium of Rs 4000/- per annum shall be taken by the Contract Employees themselves covering Covid-19 and other diseases. The premium amount shall be reimbursed to the contract employees subject to submission of copy of health insurance policy and original receipt of premium paid.
7. Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted from the salary and a matching contribution will be made by IRCON. The accumulations will be paid at the time of cessation of contract.
8. One leave for each calendar month of service can be availed during the contract period. Leave can be carried forward and accumulated but no leave encashment for unavailed leave is allowed during the contract or on resignation or termination of contract. No other type of leave would be admissible.
9. One weekly off and other public holidays when the project office remains closed would be available.
10. Working hours/days and off will be the same as for the Project.
11. TA/DA would also be admissible if deputed on outstation duty.
12. No other perks or benefits would be admissible except the above.
13. If any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or incorrect or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria, then his/her candidature is liable to be rejected/cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process.
14. The ex-contract employees of IRCON, whose services were terminated due to closure of projects, can also apply for these posts if they fulfil the required qualifications and experience. A copy of the termination letter should be sent along with the application. Appointment against this advertisement shall be treated as fresh appointment without any linkage to previous employment in IRCON.
15. The no. of posts indicated above may vary based on further assessment of requirement. The company reserves the right to increase, decrease, cancel, restrict & modify the requirement at any point of time without assigning any reason thereof.
B. INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING: -
1. Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
2. Applicants who consider themselves as eligible should register themselves as per the schedule mentioned below and bring along with them one set photocopy along with Originals as mentioned below:
i. Application typed on A-4 size paper in the format attached herein
ii. Experience Certificate in chronological order. In case of Present Employment, offer letter alone will not be considered as proof of experience, the candidate should also submit last Two Months’ salary slip of present employer for proof of experience.
iii. Date of Birth/ class X passing certificate as proof of DOB.
iv. Caste certificate/EWS Certificate/Age relaxation. Certificate issued should be in prescribed format as per Government of India's guidelines.
v. Qualification Degree and All semester/year Mark sheets for calculation of percentage in qualifying degree.
3. If the candidate belongs to OBC, a caste certificate issued in the current financial year only by a competent authority as applicable for appointment to the services in Govt. of India in proper format will be accepted. Please note, that an OBC certificate issued in the current financial year only can be accepted as a current proof of your not belonging to “creamy layer” in the OBC.
4. Candidates should mention percentage in the fields where percentage is required without rounding off. Percentage obtained in BE/B.Tech as mentioned in consolidated mark sheet issued by University/Institution after considering marks of all semesters/years will be considered. However, in case consolidated marksheet is not being issued by University/Institute, final percentage will be calculated by taking average of all semesters/years.
5. In case CGPA/OGPA/DGPA is mentioned in marksheets, following criteria may be applied:
i. In case where conversion into percentage is not provided by university/institutes: "If university/institute do not have the provision for conversion of CGPA/OGPA/CPI/DGPA or letter grade into percentage then minimum 6 on 10-point scale will be considered as 60%. On any scale different from 10-point scale the score will be prorated accordingly.
ii. In case where conversion into percentage is provided by university/institutes: Wherever CGPA/OGPA/CPI/DGPA or letter grade in degree is awarded, equivalent % of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by concerned university/institute. A certificate to this effect may be obtained by the candidate from the university/institute, which shall be required to be produced at the time of verification.
6. The schedule of registration and document verification is as mentioned below.
7. Please note the Registration shall start at 09:30 am across all the locations as mentioned above. The candidate may register themselves upto 1:00 pm only on respective date and locations.
8. Candidates reporting for registration would be allowed to register for such places/projects only that are allocated to that particular registration location.
9. Candidates can register for the above mentioned posts by being physically present along with the documents required on the prescribed date and time at the respective locations. No hard copies of applications through post would be accepted.
10. No request for change of date, time and location for any post would be entertained.
11. Any communication/corrigendum/notification related to any post of this advertisement will be
uploaded on IRCON’s website only.
